Building blueprints for new United Vaccines facility

Building blueprints for new United Vaccines facility

In the last year, United Vaccines – an extremely vital link in the fur industry – relocated to a new production, warehouse, and research facility in Verona, WI (outside Madison).

A report from the town of Verona reveals building blueprints (and more). See selected images below, or download the whole report here.

Vaccines are crucial to the survival of the US mink industry, and United Vaccines is currently the only mink vaccine supplier.

Each year, mink farmers purchase millions of dollars of vaccines from United Vaccines collectively via a nonprofit called Mink Veterinary Consulting and Research. Headed by mink industry veterinarian Dr John Easley in Plymouth, WI; the group pools fur farmer capital to purchase mink vaccines in bulk at a discount.

IRS documents state the groups function as ”assisting with the coordination of critical vaccine supply.”

There is every indication the already-floundering US mink industry would be even closer to collapse without the support of United Vaccines.

United Vaccines relocated from nearby Fitchburg WI to Verona with the opening of their new facility in 2018.

Media reporting on the opening of the facility quote United Vaccines spokespersons as saying research in the building will be done on “mice and other rodents.” (Note the room marked “animal room” near the NW corner of the building.)

Other USDA documents revealed an inspection at an unknown location in Blue Mounds, WI where United Vaccines experiments on mink.
